Forged From Grit & Built by Brothers
In the world of flooring and demolition, speed matters — and precision even more. Since 1996, brothers Jason and Jerry Sindt have worked on the ground, running a hands-on hardwood flooring business. Over the years, they knew there had to be a faster, tougher way to rip staples, nails, and cleats out of subfloors and roofs.
That spark turned into steel.
Built with Precision and Purpose
The Idea That Refused to Quit
What began as a field frustration quickly became a blueprint. The brothers sketched, shaped, and stress-tested prototypes with a clear mission: create the ultimate staple and nail extractor that professionals could rely on when time matters.
Precision Born From Fifty Years’ Work
Partnering with longtime friend and seasoned machinist Ron Warren, their idea gained serious traction. With over 50 years of running a specialty machine shop that served aerospace giants like NASA, Boeing, and the military, Ron brought unmatched metalworking knowledge to the table. His legacy and expertise helped shape the earliest versions of the tool. Though Ron passed in 2019, his impact runs through every inch of the final product.
A Tool Worth Fighting for
In 2022, they entered Lowe’s national “Into the Blue” contest, competing with over 3,000 other innovators, all hoping to earn a place on shelves nationwide. After surviving six competitive rounds and pitching in person at Lowe’s headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the team emerged victorious.
Win on the National Stage
Out of thousands, they were one of the few to secure a deal at Lowe's.
That moment sealed it. The T-Rex Ripper wasn’t just a good idea anymore. It was a nationally recognized solution for real job site problems.
A Must-Have Tool
The patented four-tooth curved head isn’t just clever — it’s aggressive. Designed to bite into fasteners big and small, it rips staples, nails, and cleats free with speed and control. Whether you’re tearing out trim or gutting a subfloor, this bar was built to save time — and it delivers.
Every edge, angle, and groove was field-tested by the same people who built it. No fluff. No gimmicks. Just results.
A Legacy of Work
From a family business to a nationwide product line, the journey has been fueled by hard work, real experience, and the belief that better tools mean better jobs. The T-Rex Ripper is just the beginning.
We’re proud of where we started, and even more fired up for what’s coming.
